Kom ind og oplev vores 50-års jubilæumsudstilling ”Kiinnat oqaluttuartut / Ansigter som fortæller / Talking Faces”, som er en del af Copenhagen Photo Festival 2024.
I anledning af Det Grønlandske Hus' jubilæum ønsker vi at skabe en fotoudstilling som hylder de mange mennesker, der har været en del af husets rige historie. Gennem portrætter og små interviews vil vi belyse de forskellige perspektiver fra forskellige brugergrupper, personale, kunstnere og beslutningstagere mm., der igennem årene har formet og oplevet huset igennem de sidste 50 år.
Vi ønsker med fotoudstillingen at vise hvordan Det Grønlandske Hus har fungeret som et kulturelt knudepunkt, der forbinder mennesker og skaber fællesskaber på tværs af forskellige kulturer. Udstillingen skal bidrage med kulturforståelse og samtidig belyse den samfundsrelevans huset har haft igennem de portrætteredes fortællinger.
Kunstnerne bag de stemningsfyldte værker er fotograferne Jørgen Chemnitz og Nina Sikkersoq.
Udstillingen kan ses alle hverdage kl. 10:00 - 16:00 til og med den 29 / 07 2024
Udstillingen bliver også vist på Københavns Rådhus den 12-14. juni. Åbningen finder sted på Rådhuset onsdag den 12. juni kl. 16:00-17:30. På Rådhuset åbner Gaz Zaa Lung igen udstillingen med trommedans og socialborgmester Karina Vestergård Madsen vil holde en tale.
50th anniversary exhibition "Kiinnat oqaluttuartut / Ansigter som fortæller / Talking Faces", which is part of the Copenhagen Photo Festival 2024.
On the occasion of Greenland House's anniversary, we want to create a photo exhibition that pays tribute to the many people who have been part of the house's rich history. Through portraits and small interviews, we will shed light on the different perspectives from different user groups, staff, artists and decision-makers, etc., who over the years have shaped and experienced the house over the past 50 years.
With the photo exhibition, we want to show how Greenland House has functioned as a cultural center hub that connects people and creates communities across different cultures. The exhibition must contribute to cultural understanding and at the same time illuminate the social relevance the house has had through the stories of those portrayed.
The exhibition can be seen every weekday at 10:00 - 16:00 up to and including 29 / 07 2024
The exhibition will also be shown at Copenhagen's Town Hall for three days, with an opening on wednesday 12/6. The opening at the Town Hall starts at 16 and ends at 17:30. At the town hall, Gaz Zaa Lung opens the exhibition again with a drum dance and social mayor Karina Vestergård Madsen will give a speech.
